Anguo Temple

Anguo Temple, located in Wuya Valley, 10 kilometers west of Lishi District, was first built in the eleventh year under the reign of Emperor Zhenguan in Tang Dynasty, which is over 1,300 years ago. With its unique landforms, beautiful natural landscape, time-honored Buddhist culture, profound cultural foundation and rich cultural relics and historical sites, Anguo Temple is a scenic spot that integrates human landscape, ancient buildings, ancient castles and natural scenery, and also a magnificent ancient building group that is highly valuable for historical, scientific and artistic research. Besides, it is a provincial forest park, a national key protected cultural relic unit, and the Yu Chenglong Education Center of Clean Government Culture.
