Cangerhui Ecological Cultural Tourism Scenic Area in Lvliang Mountain

Provincial-Level Tourist Resort, National AAA-Level Tourist Scenic Area

The Cangerhui Ecological Cultural Tourism Scenic Area is located at the eastern foot of Lvliang Mountain in the western part of Wenshui County. The area boasts more than 20 cultural landscapes and relics, with natural attractions such as steep cliffs and caves scattered throughout. The abundant forest resources here are renowned as a "natural museum of flora and fauna" and praised as a "natural air conditioner and green oxygen bar." The scenic area features the picturesque Shichuan Grand Canyon, a combination of its steepness, uniqueness, beauty, and magnificence. Notable landmarks include the towering ridge known as "Pillar Holding Up the Sky" and the majestic Loong Palace Mountain. Additionally, there are rich cultural and tourist resources such as Dongyan Temple, Guoning Temple, Longmu Temple, Fotang Temple, and the Liujiazhang Summer Resort. The area has a temperate continental monsoon climate, with an average elevation ranging from 1,200 to 2,100 meters. The highest temperature in summer is around 20°C, making it a well-deserved destination for health care and leisure vacations in northern China. The resort holds several prestigious titles, including National AAA-level Tourist Attraction, Provincial Leisure Tourism Resort, National Forest Park, National Leisure Agriculture Demonstration Site, National Characteristic Agriculture and Service Industry Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone. It is also one of the first batch of the Cultural Industry Demonstration Bases designated by the provincial government.
