Shanxi delegation to make 7 joint suggestions to NPC

The Shanxi delegation to the first session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC) held a meeting on March 4 to discuss the suggestions made in their name.

The delegation planned to make seven key suggestions to the NPC.

These include starting the construction of the Changzhi-Handan-Liaocheng and the Yuncheng-Sanmenxia high speed railways during the 2021-25 period, and supporting Shanxi in establishing an experimental zone for the ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River basin.

Other suggestions include increasing financial and tax support for the intelligent transformation of Shanxi's coal mining industry, and supporting the central Shanxi urban agglomeration in creating a national demonstration zone for the transfer and commercialization of scientific and technological achievements.
