Shanxi attracts investment in Haikou

The Shanxi Provincial Government hosted a Shanxi-Haikou Investment Promotion and Matchmaking Conference in Haikou, capital of South China's Hainan province, on April 11.

More than 80 enterprises engaged in high-tech, modern agriculture, cultural tourism, healthcare, and modern service sectors from Beijing, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Fujian, and Hainan, attended the conference. 

North China's Shanxi province displayed the specialties of its characteristic professional towns at the conference, attracting attendees to negotiate business affairs. 

Shanxi's government departments, development zones, and characteristic professional towns promoted their respective development plans and investment policies. 

At the conference, Shanxi Global Leap E-Commerce Co and Hainan Island Food and Beverage Co signed a strategic cooperation agreement worth 120 million yuan ($17.46 million).
