As spring temperatures continue to rise, farmers are planting watermelons in Shixi township of Liulin county, Shanxi province.

They are carrying out a series of spring agricultural tasks – plowing, planting, fertilizing and covering the ground with plastic film, which helps promote an early high-yield harvest.
