RV camping expo held in Shanxi

The China (Shanxi) International RV Camping Expo was held in Taiyuan, capital of North China's Shanxi province, on May 4-7. 

The expo set five exhibition areas for recreational vehicles (RVs), camping equipment, outdoor products, culture and tourism, as well as the RV and camping business, and attracted the participation of over 80 enterprises, fans and customers of RVs. More than 200 types of RVs and various camping facilities were exhibited on site. 

Cultural tourism product promotions, an exhibition of intangible cultural heritage items and cultural creative products from 11 cities across Shanxi, and cultural experience activities were held during the expo, with the aim of further cultivating consumer groups for road trips and RV camping. 

Since 2013, the expo has been successfully held on five occasions, becoming one of the most influential RV camping expos in China.

"The holding of the expo has effectively promoted the integrated development of culture and tourism in Shanxi, and promoted the efficient integration of camping and leisure tourism with the culture of Shanxi," said Dong Ruijiang, president of the Shanxi RV Association. 

At present, there are more than 50 campsites in Shanxi, and the province's development of the RV camping industry is at the forefront of the country.
