Shanxi to attract investment from Sichuan

A summit on Sichuan businesspeople and Shanxi industrial investment was held in No 3 Shanxi Smart City in Taiyuan, capital of North China's Shanxi province, on July 11. 

The event aimed to establish a platform and bridge for cross-regional communication and cooperation between the two provinces. By drawing on the advanced practices and exploration in the digital transformation of enterprises in the Sichuan-Chongqing region, it actively promoted the exploration and integration of local Shanxi companies in the fields of digitalization and intelligence. 

At the same time, the event aimed to provide Sichuan-based companies with a better understanding of the development of advantageous industries in Shanxi, strengthen communication and interaction between companies from Sichuan and Shanxi, and attract more Sichuan-based companies to invest in Shanxi.

During the forum, scholars and entrepreneurs from within and outside Shanxi province delivered keynote speeches, discussing the development path of the digital economy in both Sichuan and Shanxi.

Shanxi Caigen Industrial Park Development Co and Shanxi Chamber of Commerce in Sichuan held a signing ceremony for investment and cooperation. Both parties launched the global investment action of Sichuan-based companies to invest in Shanxi. This initiative will accelerate the establishment of communication links and green channels with high-quality enterprises, talents, and projects from outside the province.
