Shanxi's smart coal mining experience to be promoted nationwide

The coal-rich Shanxi province's 16 cases were recently included in the national typical cases of intelligent coal mine construction by the National Energy Administration. 

These account for 20 percent of the selected cases, reflecting Shanxi's continuous acceleration of intelligent coal mine construction and constant improvement of innovative capabilities. 

These cases provide excellent experiences that can be referenced nationwide, contributing to advancing intelligent coal mine construction to a higher level. 

In recent years, Shanxi has been making significant strides in the development of intelligent coal mines, and the construction of multiple advanced intelligent coal mines and mining faces. As of now, the province boasts an impressive total of 46 intelligent coal mines and 1,200 intelligent mining faces. Additionally, over 3,000 fixed positions in coal mines can now operate without any human intervention, highlighting the province's commitment to creating a safer and more efficient mining industry.
