Grand event unveiled at Bailong Mountain with new scenery in Lanxian

On May 19, the 23rd Bailong Mountain Tourism and Culture Festival in Lanxian County was unveiled, featuring “Healthcare Lanxian and Charming Longshan”. The eight-day event consisted of a calligraphy exhibition, a tourism promotion session, photography exhibition, a cultural show, a Shanxi opera performance, an intangible cultural heritage fair and a food court, to present tourists an immersive experience for the natural landscape as well as traditional culture.

Cultural and healthcare tourism is now a new momentum to drive economic growth. Following the path of the CPC Lanxian County Committee, Lanxian digs into the chance of Yellow River tourism development to build a model tourism county, building a batch of 4-5A level sites including Potato Flower Scenic Spot and Bailong Mountain. It seeks to be “China’s oxygen bar” and the “province’s garden”. Meanwhile, based on the ecology, the combination of culture and tourism is the key to promote Bailong Mountain tourism brand. With the deep integration of healthcare and cultural tourism, Lanxian is capable of improving influence on cultural tourism, appealing to more visitors and facilitating the quality economic and social development.
