Linxian County: Project construction as foundation for high-quality development

(Reporter: Zhang Juanjuan) Oriented in the "985" industrial chain set out by the CPC Lvliang Municipal Committee and Lvliang Municipal People’s Government, Linxian County is in full swing to accelerate the construction of new projects this year. In response to the national environmental protection policy and transportation structure adjustment, completion of a provincial key project, Shanxi Chegan Coal Transportation and Marketing Co., Ltd. exclusive railroad line project, enhanced the coal transport channel collection and distribution system, equipped with a fast-loading station and three distributing lines as well as the supporting storage and loading system. The design capacity is 10 million ton/year in the near-term and 20 million ton/year in the long term. Coal products from more than 20 coal mines around the area can be transported to Shandong and Henan via Lvliang-Linxian Line and Watang-Rizhao Line. The project will play a positive role in saving transportation costs, promoting company development and driving local economy. Considering project construction’s importance for economic development, Linxian has set it as the task for 2023 and an important carrier for the county's high-quality development. This year, the county has implemented a total of 106 major projects, with a total investment of RMB 55.816 billion. The annual planned investment is RMB 10.796 billion, with 74 new projects and 32 renewed projects, which are currently being pushed forward. The batch of key projects in operation will boost Linxian County’s high-quality development.
