Shanxi shows shining achievements of digital economy

Shanxi province's 10 most outstanding achievements in its digital economy field in 2023 were announced at the fourth Jinyang Lake Digital Economy Development Summit in the provincial capital Taiyuan on Aug 23. 

Shanxi has been accelerating the construction of digital infrastructure and developing digital core industries such as information technology, semiconductors, and smart terminals. As a result, various promising achievements have made to support its digital economy. 

The 10 that made the coveted list include projects related to digital infrastructure such as communication networks and internet platforms, as well as innovative applications like network management systems and digital cities. 

In particular, the virtual reality assembly technology and system for coal mining equipment were selected for the 2022 Leading Technology List of "Science and Technology Innovations in China" by the China Association for Science and Technology, providing strong support for the development of related industries in the country.
