Shanxi to take center stage at CIIE

"Shanxi Night" is set to sparkle at the 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai on Nov 5. 

Hosted by the Shanxi Provincial Government, the event is co-organized by the Shanxi Department of Commerce, Shanxi Department of Culture and Tourism, Shanxi Provincial Government Offices Administration, and Shanxi Investment Promotion Bureau. 

The event will showcase the new image of North China's Shanxi province through a variety of activities such as a cocktail party, an exhibition, cultural performances, and storytelling sessions by guest speakers. 

The cultural performances will feature traditional folk songs, music, dances, and modern art shows, highlighting Shanxi's rich historical culture and local customs. The exhibition will focus on displaying intangible cultural heritage items, famous local specialties, and interactive demonstrations of product manufacturing processes. 

Government officials from foreign countries participating in the expo, as well as representatives from China's and international exhibiting companies, financial institutions, international organizations, and business associations, will attend the event. This year's expo will be held on Nov 5-10.
