Shanxi, Hainan cooperate on technology

North China's Shanxi province recently signed a scientific and technological cooperation agreement with South China's Hainan province in Sanya, the provincial capital. 

The two provinces will deepen the collaborative innovative development of Hainan Free Trade Port and Shanxi, fully leveraging their respective strengths in science and technology, talent, location, and resources. 

The two sides will jointly construct a scientific and technological innovation system, achieve in-depth sharing of scientific and technological resources, and promote mutual benefits and win-win outcomes. 

In recent years, Shanxi has strengthened key core technology research, established regular connections with universities, research institutes, and innovative enterprises, and expanded cooperation and exchanges in scientific and technological innovation. 

Significant breakthroughs have been achieved in the province's major scientific and technological innovation platforms and key core technology research.
