Shanxi shows increasing passion for promotions at CIIE

Shanxi province's pavilion made a stunning appearance at the 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE) which opened in Shanghai on Nov 5. 

This year, more than 2,200 companies and institutions, and over 7,400 professional visitors from Shanxi registered to participate at the CIIE, surpassing the registration volume seen in previous years. To enhance cultural exchanges, Shanxi brought 22 companies and three exhibition groups to display their wares and services at the expo.

Shanxi has set up nine specialized areas, including those representing acitivites promoting investment, glorifying the beauty of the local countryside, food, featured cultural tourism, and online livestreaming, fully showcasing the province's achievements in industrial transformation, rural vitalization, cultural and tourism integration, and opening-up.

Additionally, it has prepared four provincial-level events and 22 other activities related to investment, business matchmaking, displaying the local culture, as well as business visits and research. 

The participation of Shanxi in the CIIE demonstrates the province's determination to attract investment, promote cultural tourism, and strengthen international cooperation.
