Shanxi seeks industrial cooperation at Silk Road expo

North China's Shanxi province sought greater industrial cooperation at the 7th Silk Road International Expo and the Investment and Trade Forum for Cooperation between East and West China in Xi'an, Northwest China's Shaanxi province, on Nov 16-20.  

The expo consisted of six zones for international communication, regional cooperation, modern agriculture, advanced manufacturing, modern services and open platforms. Shanxi set up its booth at the regional cooperation zone. 

Agricultural products, handicrafts, and high-tech products by 23 local enterprises caught the attention of many visitors. 

Shanxi Zhiyun Biotechnology Co, for example, aimed to find strategic partners through the exhibition and expand the nationwide distribution of its active oxygen disinfectant products, which are four times more effective than traditional chlorine and alcohol-based disinfectants.
