Shanxi attends international supply chain expo

Shanxi exhibitors are seeking international cooperation in industrial and supply chains at the 1st China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) which opened in Beijing on Nov 28.

Hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the expo is the world's first national-level exhibition taking the supply chain as its theme.

The expo has set up exhibition areas for five major industrial chains and one supply chain for the service industry, including the intelligent automobile, green agriculture, clean energy, digital technology, and healthy lifestyle industries.

Shanxi has invited 21 key companies and industrial parks in the province, as well as 180 buyers and more than 800 professionals from related institutions, to form the Shanxi delegation, which has already made a strong impact at the expo. 

These Shanxi-based exhibitors cover the industrial chains of green agriculture, clean energy, digital technology, healthy lifestyle and supply chain services, focusing on showcasing new technologies, new products, and new services in the key sectors of each respective industrial chain. 

The CISCE will run until Dec 2 and includes more than 20 supporting activities, such as supply and demand matchmaking meetings, industry seminars, and new product launches. 

It aims to create a high-end platform that integrates trade promotion, investment cooperation, innovation, and learning exchanges, while also promoting the connections between the upstream, midstream, and downstream of each industrial chain.
