Shanxi acts to enhance computing power infrastructure

Shanxi province recently issued a plan for the development of its computing power infrastructure. 

The plan sets a target for the province to achieve a computing power scale of over 9 EFLOPS and a proportion of intelligent computing power reaching 35 percent by 2025. The province also aims to establish more than four intelligent computing centers. 

The plan outlines 21 key tasks in six aspects, including improving the comprehensive computing power supply system, strengthening efficient and flexible storage capacity guarantees, promoting the utilization of computing power in industry applications, and advancing green and low-carbon computing power development. 

It also proposes five guarantee measures, including improving regulatory coordination mechanisms, increasing financial policy support, optimizing network data services, and deepening exchange and cooperation.
