Shanxi adds 14 time-honored Chinese brands

Shanxi province saw 14 brands included in the latest list of time-honored Chinese brands, which was jointly released by the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the State Administration for Market Regulation, the China National Intellectual Property Administration, and the National Cultural Heritage Administration.

The 14 selected Shanxi enterprises cover a wide range of business areas, including liquor, vinegar, meat products, snacks, handicrafts, and pharmaceuticals.

With this addition, Shanxi now boasts 37 time-honored Chinese enterprises, and its total number of provincial level and above time-honored enterprises has reached 88.

In 2024, Shanxi will focus on organizing a series of events, such as the Time-Honored Brands Carnival, Spring Festival consumption promotion activities, and activities that integrate Shanxi time-honored brands into the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. All of these efforts will further enhance the cultural connotations and product quality of local time-honored brands.
