National political advisers from Shanxi submit 96 proposals

Shanxi province's members of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) submitted 96 proposals during the second session of the 14th CPPCC National Committee in Beijing. 

The proposals included four joint proposals on establishing a national energy supply compensation mechanism; constructing the China (Shanxi) Free Trade Zone; utilizing the public welfare lottery to boost the protection of cultural relics; and improving the employment support system for college and university graduates. 

The CPPCC National Committee members from Shanxi also submitted 37 articles reflecting social and public opinion during the 2024 two sessions.

These members also proposed ideas focused on new quality productive forces, the construction of an inland opening-up hub; the protection, inheritance, and innovative development of traditional culture; and the improvement of people's well-being, thus fulfilled their roles as national political advisers.
