Shanxi releases land space plan for central city cluster

Shanxi province recently released its "Land Space Plan for Shanxi's Central City Cluster (2021-2035)".

The plan specifies the strategic positioning of land space in Shanxi's central city cluster as an important growth pole in the central region, and as a service and support area for the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and Xiong'an New Area. It will also be a demonstration area for Shanxi's high-quality development, and an internationally renowned cultural and tourist destination.

The plan covers five cities, namely Taiyuan, Jinzhong, Xinzhou, Lyuliang, and Yangquan.

It includes the construction of a new pattern for land development and protection in Shanxi, the establishment of an urban network of centers that feature coordinated development among the five cities, and the creation of an innovative and collaborative industrial space. 

Other key points of the plan include the development of a green and beautiful ecological space, and the construction of an integrated infrastructure system.
