Shanxi to upgrade intelligent livelihood services

North China's Shanxi province will implement a project to optimize and upgrade its intelligent livelihood services, according to the province's digital government construction plan. 

The province aims to achieve "multi-card integration" and "multi-code integration" in several livelihood service sectors. 

It is expected that by the end of 2024, the mobile application of the integrated online administrative service platform will cover the public's service needs. Additionally, over 90 percent of high-frequency administrative services will have achieved "certificate-free processing" which means that the public can handle transactions without carrying or submitting corresponding paper documents by utilizing electronic certificate services. 

The province will accelerate the integrated and coordinated development of the human resources and social security business systems, continuously enhancing the information management and service capabilities in four major business areas, including employment and entrepreneurship, social insurance, labor relations, and personnel and talent. 

At the same time, the province will work to upgrade its public health and medical big data platform by connecting all secondary and higher-level public hospitals to the regional public health information platform. Electronic medical and health record banks at the city and county levels will be established to ensure the sharing of examination and checkup results. 

Furthermore, in the field of elderly care, a provincial elderly care information database will be built up to achieve centralized and unified management of information regarding elderly individuals and elderly care institutions.
