On November 2, 2019, the First Yangquan Patent Technology and Product Fair was held at Yangquan Municipal Exhibition Hall.

Focusing on the theme of “Patent Leads High-quality Development”, and highlighting the concept of “green innovation, environmental protection and energy conservation, culture and people’s livelihood, transformation and rise”, the fair set up a patent exhibition area, which covers more than 1,000 square meters, and more than 60 booths, and invited nearly 50 high-tech enterprises from South Korea, Australia and some domestic provinces and cities, such as Beijing City, Shandong, Guangdong and Hainan provinces, to participate in the fair. A total of more than 1,000 patents were exhibited, covering agriculture, construction, mining and intelligent system fields. Nearly 1,000 experts, scholars and senior technical personnel participated in the exhibition, and more than 60 patent projects were promoted on the site.

The fair was sponsored by the Yangquan Municipal Market Supervision and Administration Bureau, co-sponsored by Yangquan Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, Yangquan Municipal Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau, Yangquan Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Yangquan Association for Science and Technology, and the Technical Center of Yangquan Coal Industry Group, and organized by Yangquan Association of Inventions.
