Shanxi firms lead the way at China-ASEAN Expo

Fourteen companies from North China's Shanxi province are taking part in the 19th China-ASEAN Expo in Nanning, capital of Southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, on Sept 16-19.

The exhibition area for North China's Shanxi province is inspired by the design of local ancient buildings and is divided into themed sections for the exhibit of comprehensive images, cultural and art shows and displays by enterprises. Among the enterprise display section, Shanxi's companies in investment, food and construction industries have been showcasing their strengths.

This year's China-ASEAN Expo boasts the theme of sharing RCEP new opportunities, building a version 3.0 China-ASEAN FTA, and has attracted 1,653 exhibitors, including 311 Fortune Global 500 companies and well-known companies.

Malaysia is the country of honor of the event, and South Korea is the invited partner.

The four-day expo is held online and offline. The offline expo has newly set exhibition areas of ASEAN and RCEP selected products, China's Stated-owned enterprises, new energy vehicles, cross-border e-commerce and new retail, culture, tourism, recreation and health care.
