474 enterprises in Shanxi rated national innovative SMEs

In 2022, Shanxi province recorded 474 enterprises that have recently been rated as innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

According to the documents from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, innovative SMEs have a high level of specialization, strong innovation ability and development potential.

During the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25), China will promote the cultivation of 1 million innovative SMEs.

The Shanxi Small Businesses Development Promotion Bureau requires cities in Shanxi to increase support for SMEs by providing considerate services and guidance. Cities should also cultivate high-quality SMEs by helping them to improve their innovation capabilities and specialization. 

Innovative SMEs should focus on their main business, strengthen their innovation capabilities, and enhance their core competitiveness.
