The 2024 folk ancestor worship ceremony of Yan Emperor for compatriots from both sides was held in Gaoping

On May 15th, "Ancestor Worship of Yan Emperor, Seeking Roots in Gaoping", the 2024 folk ancestor worship ceremony of Yan Emperor (Shennong) for compatriots from both sides of the Taiwan Strait was held at the mausoleum of Yan Emperor in Gaoping , Shanxi.

Compatriots from both sides share common ancestry, culture, and history. From May 9th to 21st, as part of the 2024 folk exchange activities of Yan Emperor (Shennong) for compatriots from both sides of the Taiwan Strait in Gaoping City, 1,769 tourists from Taiwan have visited Shanxi to explore their roots and visit cultural relics and historical sites, experiencing the profound and rich history of Shanxi's "Five Thousand Years of Civilization."

The folk ancestor worship ceremony of Yan Emperor (Shennong) for compatriots from both sides of the Taiwan Strait has been successfully held for eight consecutive years, attracting numerous believers from both sides of the strait, descendants of the Chinese nation, and political and business elites who sincerely admire it.
